This guide walks you through every way to set up and manage content approvals, both internally and for clients.
Ways to Require Content Approval Before Publishing
You can require content approval at multiple levels: by brand, user, or individual post.
Require Approval for All New Posts (Per Brand)
Go to the Publishing tab in your Brand Settings.
Toggle on "Require Content Approvals."
Click Save.
All new content created under this brand will now require approval before publishing.
Require Approval for Content Created by Specific Users
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Hover over the gear icon next to the user you’d like to set this for.
Click "Require Approval."
All content created by this user will now need approval before going live.
Require Approval for a Single Piece of Content
Go to the Content Library.
Open the specific content item.
Click the checkmark icon in the top-left corner to toggle approval on.
How to Create a New Content Approval for a Client
Go to the Approvals tab in your dashboard.
Click “New Approval” in the top right.
Add a title, description, and select the content you want approved.
You can select content by category or individual post.
Share the Approval Sheet with Your Client
After creating the approval, a unique link will be generated that you can send to your client via:
Email
Text
Slack
Any messaging platform

Client Feedback & Notifications
If your client leaves a comment on any content in the approval sheet, you'll receive a notification in your dashboard.
This makes it easy to respond to feedback in real time.
How to Edit or Update a Content Approval
Need to add or remove content after sending the approval link?
Go to the Approvals tab.
Click "Edit Approval".
Select or deselect content as needed.
The approval sheet link will automatically update, so your client will see the latest version without needing a new link.
