Some notifications in our platform—like comment alerts or content approvals—are managed per user. That means each user must log into their own account to enable or disable certain notifications.
This article walks you through how to update those settings for yourself or how your team members can update theirs.
Why Are Some Notifications User-Specific?
Notifications such as:
Comment notifications
Content approval updates
Mentions or task assignments
…are personalized so that only the intended user receives them. This allows for more tailored and relevant alerts.
Step-by-Step: Manage Notifications for a Specific User
Step 1: Log In as the User
The notification settings must be managed from within the user’s own account. Make sure you're logged in as the correct user.
Step 2: Access Account Settings
Click on your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Select “Account Settings” from the dropdown menu.]
Step 3: Go to the Subscriptions Tab
In the Account Settings, click on the “Subscriptions” tab.
From here, you can toggle ON/OFF any available notifications for that specific user.
Changes will be saved automatically, and the selected notifications will take effect immediately.
